    1099 Shows dates, sale & cost information, then states wash sale loss disallowed. How is this handled on the Sch D and 8949?

      I've had several. Your software should easily handle it.

      In simplest terms, the allowable loss is lessened/prohibited. Code "W" will need to show up on the Form 8949.
