1099 Reporting

Questions on top of Sch C,F, E ask about if tp is required to send and did they send. What if TP is required but doesn't. Will that generate a letter? I still have TP who don't think it's their responsiblity to send, or just don't want to go to the work to figure it up.

If this is a business, not a rental then I would answer the question accurately. It may generate a letter. Be sure the TP understands the pro/cons of not following the law. It isn't a matter of what he thinks it is a matter of what the law says.
