From S corp to C corp

I would like to convert from an S to a C corp. What needs to be done? Also, since the 2010 S-corp return hasn't yet been filed, can I file it as a C-corp?

I found my answer in TTB under the S-corp tab. I have to file a statement by Mar 15th of this month to have it apply for 2012 and beyond.

It was a S-corp in 2010. I cannot see how you can file it as a C-corp now after the fact.

Not Easy, your are correct. My only option is to file the papers now to have terminate the s-corp and convert it to a c-corp for 2012.
