New daughter in law re their joint return info mailed to me:
"I know we are on the bottom of the totem pole but I was wondering when we might be filing?"
They really aren't on the bottom, because I know they like to fund their IRAs with their refunds so I don't put them on extension.
Each year I try to put my freebies on extension, but everyone has some reason to convince me to do their returns sooner rather than later. -

"Rita, this is Mabel (not her real name). Just wanted to let you know that my refund made it to the bank. And, I appreciate you, Honey."
