Me either. I would not try to "make it better" for 2011. It is what it is. For 2012, tell them to do it legitimately, and pay the going wage for his work, and for his actual hours. If she has a contract, she has to honor it, and not finagle her books to allow her spouse to continue receiving maximum government benefits.
