    2011 - form 5498 w/box 11 (RMD) checked

    Dont believe I have ever saw one of these with the RMD box (11) checked. TTB does not give much info about form, just for information purposes.

    It means that the recipient is required to take an RMD. Is that your question? You can always look for more details by getting the instructions for the form from the IRS web site.
