    Intuit Tax ID Scam

Just received this alert from NATP:

    Intuit Tax ID Scam

The Taxgirl Blog has brought to our attention a new email scam. Scammers are requesting victims to click a link to update their Intuit tax information. The link will take the victim to a malicious website. Be sure to let your clients know that these types of emails are scams and their links/attachments are dangerous. Many clients use Intuit products such as Quickbooks and Quicken.

    Phising-Scam

Yes, I just received the Intuit notice as well, and I copied, pasted and emailed to my QB clients, not to open links on any email relating to Intuit - we can do the updates from within the actual QB program.

Guess it is that Time of Year - what with Taxes and possible Refunds.
