    Looks Like

FEDuke found the answer posted above - Seems like it might be a Pro Series Software Issue.

Yes, and the solution is to uncheck the "enable error conversation checking" when converting to e-file.

Very little income this year. No Tax

Paid in four $1,000 Federal Estimates this year. All paid in 2011.

        Refund would be $4,000.

I am getting a Pro Series error messege that says " Estimated tax payments cannot be greater than taxable income for electronic filing"

I guess it means I cannot E-file if the amount of estimated tax payments exceed the
        taxable income.

I have never heard of this. Anyone have any experience with this crazy situation?

        This is not possible?
Did you input the est payments directly on the tax payments work sheet? I have efiled for refunds with the same issue in years past with no problem. ProSeries is very good at working with us and making changes in the program at our request. At least I have had great success with this.

Try this email to get directly to the programming division:

          Update on Intuit problem

You may get an error message when e-filing: "Estimated Tax payments and applied tax payments may not be greater than taxable income for e-filing."

We are aware of this error and will have this issue resolved in a TurboTax update currently scheduled for 2/23/2012.
