    Offer in Compromise

Does anyone use software to prepare offers in compromise?

If so, which product, and what has your experience been?

I only did one years ago by hand. But CFS TaxTools has these worksheets to fill out:
    Form 433, A, B, D, and F
    Form 656 and 656L

I like PitBull. They will arrange a pay per use option if you ask.

I also use PitBull. You can buy it in single use or a yearly contract. It helps me a lot.

Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

          Oic

The forms themselves aren't that hard to fill in using Adobe. Be sure to see Bob McKenzie's materials for updated info on OIC. Acceptance is 25% or less.

Todd do you have a link to McKenzie's info?

The other reason I like PitBull is because it has the calculations that guide you to a reasonable OIC amount.

Agree with that and it possibly helps the percentage of acceptance. I don't do that many and can use all the guidance I can get.
