Income Limit For A Full Time College Dependent

What Is The Income Limit That A College student Can Make In Order To Still Be Parents Dependent?\
Does the student have to live in the home for the parents to qualify for eic?

    A college can't be someone's dependent

Assuming an individual meets all the other criteria to be a qualifying child there is no limit on the income they can earn and still be their parent's dependent. Try checking the rules for a qualifying child in Pub 17.

Has to live in the home

to be a qualifying child except for temporary absences, which include schooling.

...but if child pays over half of his own support then no dependent exemption for parent. EIC is different, no income and no support limitation.
