    first time filer

    my grandson got a summer job and now has his first W2, does IRS reject or allow first time filer to efile?

    way back when i worked for HRB and started efile IRS did not accept first time filers.

      Should be no problem...

      Using practitioner PIN. He can also do it himself using IRS Free File.

          I didn't remember that you could not efile first time filers, but I have efiled several that are filing for the first time. Heck, I think the IRS wants efiling no matter what, to try to stop all the foul ups their input clerks cause.

          Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".
