    PA local EIT online

Do any of you PA (or elsewhere) preparers do online filing for your clients' local income tax returns?

I do not. Most of my clients are with Berkheimer (at least for one more filing season). I do not like their online filing for payroll taxes and have never tried with local income taxes. I feel it would be too time consuming to have to enter all the information into the computer again instead of just printing out the form and telling client to mail it.

The time to enter in the information is not worth the effort. I always put stamps on my clients envelopes and would rather pay the $.50 than re-enter the data.

Pretty out there! I'm in the western suburbs of Philly.

Since we're here talking about PA, I'll keep it on a tax topic, plus hijack my own thread to ask another question:

Haven't been able to locate a 2011 PA 1345; are we still faxing/mailing foreign state returns to DOR for the PA resident credit?

Guess you mean 1.25 hours north? Does that put you in the natural gas fracking zone?

Yes - I did mean 1.25 hours north. We are near it but for the most part it is north of us. The closest to where I live is about 15 miles away.

                    Where are you from?
