death benefit - workman comp insu

As per the law client have to pay $932.26 every two weeks. ( 26 x 932.26= $24238.76) as a death benefit.

This was required as they did not have the workers comp insurance at the time of Accident in which employee died.

Sorry. The question is can corporation deduct this payment made, as a death benefit, to survivors under workman comp.

Employee died at warehouse in an accident and employer did not have work comp insurance at that time. Please note that case is still in court but lawyer suggested that it is better to start paying and not wait for court's decision.
