Fax number for IRS-PTIN

Does anyone know of a fax # for the PTIN office? I couldn't find it on any of the IRS sites or the form instructions. I thought they said we could fax the form.

W-12 requires payment or it will be rejected according to instructions. There is no payment mechanism available through a faxed application. Check in the mail, or online payment look like the only options.
