I have Taxslayer Pro which contains the online version of The TaxBook. If I didn't purchase a book version of the book, will I still be allowed to be on this message board?

I guess I am not on this board then. I have never purchased a Taxbook. My employer purchases it for the office.
I thought the password was to access certain other items, such as updates, etc. I do not remember it being necessary to access the message board.

Everyone who has access to a printed copy of TheTaxBook and/or online access to TheTaxLibrary (whether you purchased it, or are using it through your software) will be able to post and answer questions on our public message board.

The 2011 password needed to access our Articles, Updates, and Tax Tools from our webiste is located on the front inside cover of TheTaxBook. If you have online access to TheTaxLibrary, you can also see this password by clicking on front inside cover of the 1040 Edition. Then click on the arrow down (next page) button in your pdf tool bar to access the front inside cover.

Yes. When you get the CD, click on the front cover and go to page 2 for the inside front cover. The password is on the inside front cover of the 1040, Deluxe, and Small Business Editions, and the last page of the index in the Planning Strategies Editions.
