Have not recieved my EA renewal yet. Any Suggestions

I filled out my EA application on line 8-6-11. Then twice I was called and told that I had filled out the wrong form. twice I have faxed in the correct form, the last time was on 11-17-11. I still do not have my card. There was a number I had gotten that we could call after Nov 28th. Well I was patient and waited a week, then I called. The message was that the person at that phone had quit, there was no other information. I then have tried to call the number on the application form, after the run around, I finally got to a message box, but you could not leave a message because it was full.

Is anyone else having problems, or am I the only one. I am next going to try and see what I can find on the IRS web site.

I still need to renew my PTIN before the end of the year.

Thanks for the link, it is nice to know they are working on it. I finally faxed a letter and a copy of my application to the Fax number I had used before.

On the post, they mentioned sending an email with the information. But it gave no email address. I think the fax should help. I HOPE

Thanks NYEA - I erred in posting that information, my sincerest apologies to NAEA members.

For those that are EA's and have not joined NAEA or local chapter, please give it your consideration. NAEA and the local chapters have been very supportive and offering assistance and guidance , in particular the last year with all of the new requirements and EA renewals and PTIN issues that we have been experiencing.

For those that are contemplating or in process of applying for your EA license, please also give consideration to becoming a member after your success of becoming an EA.

As NYEA posted it truly is a "bargin" for the support, information and assistance that is being provided.

I just got my PTIN online without my EA Card. I completed my PTIN application using the date that my EA card would say if I had it in my possession. Crossing my fingers that I did not do anything wrong.........??????? And yes I did renew my EA enrollment.

                HOORAY

My EA renewal was approved on 12/07/2011. They approved it in only 4 months from the date I submitted it.
