    Ala Statute of Limitations

ChEAr$, or anyone else down there...

Many states are going way back to collect taxes that were an issue 5-6-7 years ago. In particular, companies that made money then but have shown losses due to the recession in recent years.

Anyone know the statute of limitations for Alabama? They are going back 5-6 years for their "Privelege Tax". Years ago this all used to be an integral part of their Form 20 then they removed it. Not very smart.

If the corporation had not been dissolved, yes, privilege tax returns for at least $110 should have been filed, and separately from the form 20.
