    Non profit question

I do not do any non-profits. I do payroll for some though. I have a question about the Work Opportunity Credit. I give PR clients a note every once in a while about this as a reminder since they need to act on it when they hire someone. Is it foolish to do so for non-profits who do not have any unrelated business income? In other words would it do them any good again PR taxes?

I have no idea but I'd like to find out - so I am kicking this back to the top of the page.

Yep, the non profits get this as a refund of a payroll taxes. To claim the refund, a form 990-T will have to be filed, even if it's a church that would not normally file a 990 of any sort.

Hmm... got one of those hanging out there.
