simpler means complicated

It seems to me that all of the proposals to simplify and reform the tax code will result in a more complicated tax code as in the past. The exception to this is the "Fair Tax" proposal and it has it's own set of problems.

NO matter... which version of which so called fair tax might be chosen, some will pay more; some will pay less.

So then , "fair" is in the eye of the beholder, a particular beholder whose ox is being gored at the time. Or might be.
