Retaking an EA exam need to wait 3 bus days?

I initially take my Pt 1 mid week of this week. Prometrics told me if I fail, I need to either wait 3 bus days to retake Pt 1 or wait 3 bus days to schedule to retake Pt 1.

Does this sound correct?

I like the level of confidence you are taking into the exam. Haven't even taken it yet and you are already trying to determine how quickly you can retake the exam.

Most of us were limited to taking the exam once per year. Nothing focuses your attention like a 12 month wait to re-take.

I failed part 1 on the first try myself. I am impressed that you are ready to take it again so quickly. For me I waited a month. I knew I had nerves the first time. So I took a week off and re-review everything again. I passed the second time and then passed part 2 and 3 the first time.

I can only say

The new system is so much better than when I applied and took the EA test back in 1982 - All 4 parts in 2 days - I had to wait a good 6-9 months for the results - then reschedule the following 3-4 month schedule to re-take the parts missed. (Test only given once a year)

The worry then was if I failed any part on the following year re-take - I failed all and then had to re-take all 4 parts all over again. (They gave us a 2 year window) Devasting to me then as I passed 3 out of 4 , and one the one part I missed only by 1 question

This newer system, is ever so much better! And as Dany - stated - some of us are not "Test Takers" so we freeze, and just look at "blank paper" or "can not even read what the Question is"

There are also the "challenge questions" (mis-stated or no/right answer, ambiguous) that could push a point or two to passing, but maybe they have eliminated some of that with the new testing.

One part left

I took part 1 and part 3 last year and still have to take part 2. This part really scares me have never done and corp returns so I do not feel very confident on this. Does anyone have any advise for part 2---what is the best thing to study for this?

Will keep you updated may take in about a month.

I was part of that school of EA's too.....but even so, they had previous EA's submit challenges to questionable questions that helped people pass who were within a question or two of passing, right? They don't do that in this new system?
