Although I believe Prometrics has been awarded the contract, I don't think they've published anything yet about the Registered Tax Professional testing. That URL currently just has info on the EA exam (formally known as the Special Enrollment Examination).

Note that the PTIN is disjoint from the Registered Tax Professional testing. For example, a CPA won't need to take the test, but will still need to get a PTIN in order to be a paid preparer.
