    Every Week or Every Day

Rita talked abut Mondays-JG talked about CP 2000 - well I have 2 months worth of Mondays - and seems like everyday there is something.

If it is not the CP 2000 notices ( I received 3 back to back for 2009), a client missing in action that has not filed since 2005 that I am on POA for (IRS even phoned me), a General Liability renewal or Audit Notice, a Work Comp renewals and Audit Notices, and God bless State of California for the Sales Tax notices and Payroll Notices and then let us not forgoet the Garnishment and Levy notices on Employees of my Payroll Clients

Does every blessed General Liability and Work Comp policy renew from June - Oct each year

Now I am receiving requests for PDF files for Real Estate Loans - What about the Stock Market and moving my Portfolio, RMD, I just sold some property -= what about my capital gains - and the list moves forward

All has kept me extremely busy since 4/15/11 - and my plans were to finish my extensions, and take a few weeks off - Guess Not!

    Sandy

Come Monday of the Next Week...

Monday THIS week, I had a guy call with a notice about his 2008 return. Seems he did not qualify for the FTHBC afterall. I didn't do the return, and told him to contact his preparer. He says, "I thought you did it."

Also, had a church "friend" show up to hire me to prepare her returns since 2007. Seems she had a lot on her mind and never got around to doing them. While she was here, she said I should hire her.

Honestly, how do these people make it in life?

I have a workers comp audit tomorrow. All my blessed audits seem to be for Aug thru July.
If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

          I guess it's everyday

My auditor was going to come "between 8 and 10".

I guessed it would be 8:10 or later. I stopped at bank. Little did I know.

Message on answering machine at 8:09: "Hi, Rita. This is Early Bird Auditor. It is 8:01. I am here in your parking lot. We had an appointment at 8:00. Please call me."

If you had been there at 8:00, the auditor would have been there at 8:10.

No, if he had been there at 8:00, the auditor would have been there at 10:00.

It could be worse. I've had utility and furniture delivery companies give 4 hour windows instead of just two hours.

Just my opinion, but I would consider not being on time for a scheduled appointment as being inconsiderate.

I am always ready for a client. I expect them to be on time or call me that they are running late.

I expect my doctor or dentist to see me at my scheduled time. I am a professional also and expect them to treat me as such. My time is just as valuable as theirs.

If I was closer to Texas than 30 minutes I'd switch to your doctor -- mine's always good for a 20-30 minute delay.

I wish mine was. Had a root canal last week; worked on me for two hours -- $1,048.00

And as long we're airing complaints -- why can't WC audits cover quarter/year endings so we could use 941s instead of those oddball August-something dates?

                    --------------
I never expect my doctor to see me at the scheduled time. However, my dentist usually arrives before I do and sees me as soon as I walk in the door. I think his dental practice is more like a hobby than the source of his livelihood.

My phone service went out and the repair man was to show between 8 and 10. Need a number I could be reached to make sure someone over 18 is home when he arrives, since phone not working I left the cellphone number for contact.

Computer generated message calls to tell me don't forget tech will arrive between 8 and 10. Okay - 10 has come & gone - no tech. Get this - the tech called to say he would arrive only if some one home - since no answer assumes no one home - no tech stops.

Hello - tech called phone that is not working - that is why you are coming - tech left a message on my phone that is not working - that is why it went straight to voice mail with no ringy dingy!!!!! That is why I gave your company my cell ## - can you say idiot!!

Call customer service. When "Peggy" answers ask for supervisor. "Supervisor is genius". (Or so Peggy says.) I'm sure they will work it all out.
