    IRA partnership depreciation allocation

Seems to me i read somewhere (but now cna't find) that a general partnership with an IRA as one of its partners could elect to redirect the allocated depreciation which would have gone to IRA to other partners that might be able to get some advantage from the deductions.

    Any Help!

You ought to take a careful look at IRC Section 4975.

No such election exists that i am aware of....... In my opinion such a move could be considered a "prohibited transaction" subject to penalties.
