    Late K-1's

Just received in the mail 2010 K-1's from Blackstone Group. How's that for timely?

    Don't they

    I believe with extensions 2010 K-1's aren't due until 9/15/11

I am waiting on a few for my taxpayers that are involved in Investment Groups.

What I really am unhappy about, is the 1099B forms from borkerage houses and the delay in receiving those to file or calculate approximate taxes by 4/15.

for me. I have never had a brokerage firm not have the 1099Bs not in hand well before 4/15. Now you may get an amended info on the dividends, but seldom on the sales. Most brokerage houses have the sales on line in February... I think you need to tell clients to get a new brokerage outfit.
