My son lives in PA. He says in PA, there's Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and the rest is Arkansas. So, I have a relative CURRENTLY living in Arkansas and I just returned from Arkansas. So, there, DTS !!

That kind of statement makes no sense, whatsoever. That's like saying there is CA and then the rest of the country.

Having lived in CA, I do believe that CA is most definitely different from the rest of the country!

I relented a couple of times a few years ago when some clients wanted me to handle payroll. Never had any problems with the processing part of it - the problems revolved around the clients getting info to me on time and then frantic calls for last-minute changes. And no matter WHERE you can do the processing, you're still locked down on WHEN it has to be done. Payroll processing robs you of your flexibility. For a one-person or two-person operation, I found it to be a royal pain. Maybe it's OK for some, but I found it to be marignally profitable and not worth the headaches.
