Is there a limit on miles that can be claimed

    Is there a limit on miles that can be claimed

    on a 2106? These are legitimate miles, but for some reason, some preparers in our office are under the impression that there is a limit to what the client can claim. I can't find any such limit.

      Yes, there is a limit. Only those miles that you have driven.
      Everybody should pay his income tax with a smile. I tried it, but they wanted cash

              Mileage Deduction

              Best advice, is make sure the t/p can substantiate, with mileage log and appt book, repair bills that show odometer readings, etc.
