Hawaii Prop Tax credit for Energy Improvements

I was cruzing the web and found that City Council Bill 58 enacted in 2009 exempts the value of PV and other energy products from property tax for 25 years. Anyone have clients that qualify? Bet they would love you for life if you brought this to their attention.
Believe nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

    Wow

I wish I were in your state and had clients who qualify for this deal.

erchess....don't wish too hard. Yes Hawaii is paradise however the government can wear you down. This credit/exemption is most difficult to find on their website...near impossible!! You truly have to know what you are looking for which is why I posted it.

I made one client extremely happy ....they just spent 97K putting PV on their house. Yep I got them the 30% Fed and 35% State tax credit but it wasn't until I saw a newscast about a group who attended a rally at the Capitol building in an effort to get the legislature to pass another law re Energy products that I found this while researching.

Glad too because I am looking at adding PV to my house.
