    Not too bad

Not too bad here in my town in middle TN. LOTS of wind and rain. I looked out right before dark, and my cows were going nuts. Running from one spot to another in a tight little ball. Sure enough, it hit pretty good right after.

Most of the churches cancelled services. But, we are ok. Feel so bad for others. Hope you all are good, too.
If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

      Many of Us

This one is huge - on several occasions board members, acting as family, have targeted stricken areas where we knew a disaster had occurred, and have been relieved when members have checked in.

This time, the huge scope of this storm system swept through the homes and communities of perhaps hundreds of board members, thus as socially-conscious as we care to be, we wouldn't know where to begin.

I myself am unscathed and miraculously did not even lose electric power. However, the storm has taken its toll in property damage on several friends and relatives, including a couple personal injuries in nearby towns. It was strictly a roll of the dice as to whether my town or someone else's got hit. I can think of at least a couple dozen board members who could have been affected in the massive multi-state area.

Rather than ask about individual board members, I would ask for any of us who are in need to post. Sometimes things that are easy for us to do are impossible for those in a stricken area. If you let us hear from you, we will do what we can. I have use of my car and can be anywhere within 150 mile radius of Manchester, TN for any board member who may benefit from this.

Tuscaloosa is the home town of the University of Alabama. The video footage coming from that tornado on the news stations is horrifying. For those of you who believe in prayer, those people have had their lives shattered perhaps more than any other community.

        Thurs and Friday

As I am watching the news and the "weather" tracking, I can't help but think that we in NC again are very fortunate, not to have this recent "storm" arrive and do more damage than what occurred a week or so ago.. Rain, thunder and Lightning, yes - but not much else at least in my part of NC.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of NC, Alabama,Missouri, Mississipi, Tennessee and the other areas over the last few weeks that have been affected by the recent storms.

So I along with other posters here, would like to hear from all of our friends/family to know that they are okay,

And as Snags, said, please let us know if there is anything that we can do to assist you,

        Sandy
