Is there an appliance credit for 2010? If so, what is the federal form?

No, however some states have rebate programs for certain appliances.

Appliance Credits are at the State or Utility Level

A lot of misunderstanding by Taxpayers on that issue

As if the "energy credits" aren't difficult enough for us to discern.

I had to tell someone 3 times (at 3 occasions, months apart) they wouldn't get a credit for their appliances. The final time when I was doing the return and they were pulling out their receipts for washer/fridge and I told them they actually thought I was joking... I wanted to start bashing my head against a wall.
