The weekend tornadoes in central and eastern NC resulted in a declaration of a state of emergency, probably leading to a Federal Disaster Area Designation. It tha happens, I'm thinking this will mean that people in those areas will probably get additional time to file their returns, whether directly affected by the tornadoes or not. Isn't that automatic with IRS?

Answer to my own question, just in case it affects any of your clients (it did affect one of mine).
Looks like I missed this when it was first announced - most everything in the area extended to June 30.
