Client receive other refund but adoption credit portion was withheld due to reveiw. I know this has happen to some homebuyers credit tax. Any of your adoption clients running into same problem?

yes, I have a client. We had to send in the documentation for the credit. It was sent in with return for the adoption for 2010, but since the letter wasn't specific we sent in the documentation for all the adoptions in prior years involved with the carryforward.
I haven't heard he got check yet. I will check on it this week for him.
Just their procedure this year.
