    Temporary assignment

I have a nurse that worked at a temporary assignment at a hospital 90 miles from her home. She worked on temporary assignment for 26 weeks. Then she went on staff there.
During the 26 weeks she commuted and worked 3 12 hour days one week and 4 12 hour days the next week. She drove to the hospital, stayed in that town for the nights she worked and then drove home for the rest of the week.

When she went on staff, she moved to the city where the hospital was located. Can she take her moving expenses?

Linda, as long as the distance test is met (50 miles) I see no problem taking the moving expenses. As long as the move is within a year of starting a new job it still a reasonable time frame.
