Hopefully there will be less and less of these new clients with the new mandating licensing, cont ed and fees and just wished it would do away with those "my friend did it for free" but there will be those that will "try" to help the TP's on the TurboTax(TT) the TP purchased.
Speaking of that, picked up a new client 2 days ago that prepared his 09 return with TT. He filed a Sch C and woow did he miss out on many many Sch C deductions. This is one of the reasons I like ProSeries. I was able to convert his TT file into a ProSerie file due to ProSeries being manf by intuit as is TT. So I will amend his 09 plus prepare his 10.
I dont know if Drake has DIY version but I would like to see ProSeries have a website for TT users displaying the local ProSeries users in the TP's zip code. Then if the TP changed their mind and wants a professional, the website will list the local ProSeries users.
