Client lives in PA full time but works in MD full time. Both of her w-2's are withholding pennsylvanias rate. In box 15 of both of her w-2's it lists pa. Am I required to have her file non-resident maryland form. If I am not is this going to show on the PA return as a credit for MD taxes paid or will it be like she simply worked in PA. Thanks in advance.

Reciprocal Agreement
Because of a reciprocal agreement between PA & MD. A resident of PA working in MD does not have to pay MD tax. So the employer in MD is correctly withholding the PA tax. If client is self employed in MD different story. Pay and report to MD and credit for MD on PA.Seek wisdom from others who are more wise than you - seek others who you admire and who challenge you.
