dog ate papers from My turn to vent

Client just came in and we opened their statement from investment company. The statement had teeth marks from the dog.

I thought I would crack up laughing. I had read the post "My turn to vent" just a little while ago. He didn't eat the statement.....he just marked it as being correct amounts.

At least you were able to determine that you were handling canine validation stamps. I have had clients give me documents with unidentifiable stains which I was inclined to use a CSI type UV light on or at least hazmat gloves to touch them.

Well, when you're looking at those teeth marks, you might want to consider where the dog may have been licking just prior to chewing on the envelope...

I got W-2's that looked like they had coffee stains on them, I was afterwards told that he was sorry, he had been paper training his new pupply.

Then one time after a Workmans Comp audit. We asked why the man that cleaned my office had a higher rate. It was because he used chemicals. Two days after that we got a bag of receipts from a Logger. They had gasoline spilled on them, they were dry, but still smelled.

All in a days work, RIGHT.
