No impact on employee's return
It's the amount of wages that were exempt from the employer's share of FICA under the HIRE Act. It's a piece of economic stimulus legislation that encourages employers to hire those who have been unemployed for a certain period of time.
It has no effect on the preparation of the employee's 1040.
