    DC Income Tax

I have a client who lived in VA all year, and worked some in DC. They withheld DC tax. Instructions say NR does not have to file. Only form is full refund of withheld tax for a non-resident. Last year, I filed a part-year, no problem. DC-40 does not seem to apply. Do we just take OSC in VA for DC taxes? Or file for full refund in DC?

Bumping this up, hope for reply from a border state preparer. Lives in VA, worked in DC?

Never mind. Think I found it. VA/DC have reciprocity agreement. DC tax should not have been withheld, and we need to file DC return to get it all back. VA taxes it.
