    Clergy Housing Allowance

Depending on what I read on clergy housing allowance, it's not clear whether you can include principal and interest payments as costs or not. Can anyone help clarify this and give me some direction on where the IRS clarifies this?

    Thanks!

See Pub 517. Home Ownership, ... "the amount actually used to provide a home." This means mortgage and all related expenses, which includes interest and principal, taxes, utilities, insurance, repairs, etc. etc. etc.

      The great double-dip

And the mortgage interest and property tax still get deducted on Sch A, too.
If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
