    RMD -Didn't Take Out!

    Taxpayer didn't take her RMD for 2010. Return has not been sent in yet. What form do I use to "plead her case" so she can avoid the penalty?

      form 5329, lines 1 and 2 and/or lines 50, 51 and 52.

          Payment

          Is it correct to hold payment until you get a decision from the IRS on the waiver request?

              I have succesfully managed to have the penalty waived in 2 -3 taxpayers in the last few years.
