Volunteer miles. Say a person goes to a group discussion provided by a non-profit organization. Say the person that goes contributes to helping the others. It sounds to me like it shouldn't be a deduction, but the one in charge is telling them his CPA says it is.
In TTB it says"the expense must be incurred because of the services rendered." Do you think some services work, when the person is receiving help themselves? Wouldn't this be like the convention example in TTB. Must be a "chosen representative"?
