1098-t

Last year had a TP where the son was a full time student, but the box wasn't marked on 1098-T, I told the TP that she needed to get a new one that was correctly marked, which she did. This year I have the issue with someone else, since I've seen so many posts about 1098-T's being basically wasted paper, I wasn't worried about the box as long as we know she was at least half time. Will they be ok?

Our issue is with the figures on the 1098-T. But that is important information too. I think a transcript would prove whether it is half-time or full-time. And I would ask for that regardless.
