Client feels he was misclassified as subcontractor and filed an SS-8 sometime last fall. He has yet to hear from the IRS on this. What is your experience with filing a form 8919 versus a Sch C? He has no plans on working for this company again, so that is not an issue.

But, absent that copy you're in a bind to use the form without substantive proof that he indeed was an employee.ChEAr$,
