    New bus failed and no other income ...

    I dont recall coming across one of these before. Prospect says start up business failed in 2010 and had no other income. So how did they live, well its seems Grandpa gave and continues to give his granddaughter money to live. Top of my head, should have NOL loss carryforward?

    I would think an NOL yes

    and then from what you said they probably did not pay significant tax the past three years so carry it forward.
