    Grantor Trust report

Report from a bank's trust dept of a grantor trust looks similar to a Fiduciary K1. Do I treat it as such or do I treat it like a broker's 1099. If like a broker's 1099 then I must enter all the sched d sales. If like a K1, then just the net short and long gains/losses.

Happy St Patricks Day to all!!

A grantor trust report is the same as if it was an individual account. The trust letter usually indicates where to report on the 1040. Yes, you have to list the detail sales transactions on 1040 Sch-D and not the net.
