      turbotax

Thanks, they reran their return with turbo tax and took the education credits and got a bigger refund. I told them they could not use the education credits...
Not sure if they will use my return, or theirs with the bigger refund.

          Garbage In, Garbage Out

If they were my client, I would suggest that they seek advice from an expert who works at the Treasury Department named Timothy Geithner, who actually has a lot of experience with TurboTax...

But the irony would probably be lost on them.

Obviously, there is some question that is either poorly worded or they are not answering it properly, or they are seeing what they want to see. The funds provided by the military are a form of scholarship or grant. I'm sure that question is in there...
