I am doing a fiduciary tax return for a decedent. I know I can deduct their property tax, but can I deduct the state estate taxes? The instructions say you can deduct income taxes, but these are the state estate taxes, not the income taxes from the final return.

State inheritance taxes are not deductible on the 1041 tax return.
