I especially love the part that recommends using DIY software so you'll avoid the risk of unscrupulous preparers! Really?? I'm feeling the need to protect against unscrupulous "taxpayers."

the social security number. Maybe the author could show us where the tax preparer's social security number goes on the tax return?

If someone calls and wants to know how many times I've been audited - I'd get off the phone as soon as possible. It would scare me away from that potential client fast.
