    High School Athletic Fees

Client pays to the town $1,350 in Athletic fees for daughter to participate in 3 sports. Can this be considered a schedule A tax deduction ? Thanks,

    I don't think so

unless maybe medical because Dr recommended exercise as treatment for some specific condition that the child has such as obesity or being developmentally delayed.

      Not charity

This is not a charitable contribution. The daughter is getting a service for the payment.

If it is a fee, it is not a tax. Is that what you were thinking it would go under? It's not a charitable contribution, it is not interest, it is not a misc business deduction, and it is not even an eligible education credit item. So unless by some stretch it could be medical as erchess describes, no deduction.
