1040 - Nol

Preparing 1040 for client has NOL of (218,891) on line 22 of 1040

AGI = (218,891)

Line 43..........Taxable income is 0.00
Line 45...........AMT is 5,733

I think Line 45 should be zero. Any idea?

You need to put the AMT NOL on form 6251 in order for the tax to be calculted correctly.
