    disabled son

Client has a son who has epilepsy and a couple other serious ailments. They have statements from doctors that state son is disabled and not able to work. Even Social security disability doctors stated he was disabled. But he got rejected for disability and they appealed and still rejected. They are starting over again with process. I had a hard time understanding all he was telling me as he has a strong accent.

Son is 22 years old. In the tax software program the question is asked is child disabled. Is that based on a doctor's statement or would this case require his getting disability payments?

It will make a big difference on the clients return as they would get EIC.

      Thanks

      Thanks BP.

I will print out the page and keep with his paperwork. I will also tell him the good news. They could use a break.
